ARC Linkage Projects

This high-profile collaborative scheme provides funding for industry research projects conducted in partnership with academia. Linkage funding drives long-term (2-5 years) strategic research alliances underpinned by industry expertise.
Co-operative Research Centre Project (CRC-P)
Funding amount
Up to $3,000,000 in matched funding
The CRC-P scheme supports the commercialisation of technologies, products and services that have the potential to deliver tangible outcomes for industry. Funding is available for research collaborations of up to 3 years that involve two industry partners, one of which is an SME, and a research organisation.
APR Intern
Funding amount
50% rebate, capped at $26,000
APR Intern connects your business with a PhD student to complete a short-term research project of 3-5 months. As the industry partner, you pay up to $26,000 upfront, with 50% reimbursed upon project completion.
NSW Physical Sciences Fund

This fund supports the commercialisation of devices and systems in the field of physical sciences, with a focus on NSW-based research.

ARENA

The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) provides a range of funding schemes for research that accelerates Australia’s progress towards reliable renewable energy.
Industrial Transformation Research Program (ITRP)
This program encompasses two key funding channels:
- Industrial Transformation Research Hubs (ITRH) provides funding for new technologies and economic, commercial and social transformation.
- Industrial Transformation Training Centres (ITTC) connects industry organisations with higher degree research students and postdoctoral research expertise.
The ITRP is focused on research that responds the 2022 Industrial Transformation Priorities: Advanced Manufacturing; Cyber Security; Defence; Food, Beverage and Agribusiness; Medical Technologies and Pharmaceuticals; Mining Equipment, Resource Technology and Services, Critical Minerals Processing; Oil, Gas and Energy Resources, Recycling and Clean Energy and Space.
